Pretty Letter Company is founded by self-taught Calligrapher and Engraver, Ola Ayilara, from her London Studio.

My vision is simple: to make words look beautiful in a way that's modern, pretty, and polished. I've always had a creative eye and a deep appreciation for subtle, delicate design that feels both modern and timeless.

Pretty Letter Company began with a spark of curiosity and a love for stationery. One day, while browsing a shop, I spotted a nib and pen holder. At first, I thought it was just a beautiful pen to add to my collection—but I soon discovered it was a calligraphy pen. That discovery opened the door to a world of creativity. I started teaching myself calligraphy, and it quickly became a joyful outlet for my artistic side. Years later, I haven’t looked back.

Before calligraphy, I hadn't realised the impact of words. Now, I see their elegance everywhere. A beautifully lettered invitation can set the tone for an event, while a simple object can be transformed into a cherished keepsake. I create pieces that delight, inspire, and deserve to be captured again and again.
